DOMINIC DARE
JOINT CEO
Dominic Dare, a native Brit, boasts over two decades of experience in the global stock footage arena. Renowned for his pivotal role in elevating London's Independent Television News archive (ITN) to international prominence, Dominic's journey led him to the United States in the early 1990s, where he spearheaded and steered ITN's North American expansion. Throughout his career, he has forged network-level deals for prestigious clients, propelling ITN Source to industry dominance with exclusive agreements for ITV clips, Reuters, and Fox News, among others.
In 2012, Dominic rekindled his passion for the footage industry, joining Zodiak Media to establish an archive outlet for their extensive content library. Three years later, he and his London partner, Sandra Coehlo, embarked on a new venture, founding LOLA Clips, a groundbreaking transcontinental clip agency. With offices in London, Los Angeles, and Sydney, LOLA Clips has emerged as a trailblazer, pioneering drone-shot bespoke footage and representing esteemed clients like ITV Archive, Al Jazeera, ABC Australia, Euronews, and STUDIOCANAL.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dominic remains an active member of the industry, serving as a voting member of BAFTA and co-founding the prestigious Footagefest—an internationally renowned event that annually convenes archives and archival producers in Los Angeles. Dominic is also currently in development on several documentaries.
